Your boss can take his micro-managing bad breath and endless stupid ideas that are a road to nowhere and stick it under his half-priced toupee. With your check in hand and the entire weekend to jam out, liberation has come. Floating down the highway your car just seems to find the liquor store (how does this keep happening?), and you skip down the aisle looking for the tasty suds that will wet your whistle. Every we are doing the same, but with the tunes. We’ll select some choice videos to accompany those cold ones. Most of the world recognizes the words ‘nuclear blast‘. The cataclysmic and apocalyptic explosion of energy with intense light and heat, a damaging pressure wave, and widespread radioactive material that can contaminate the air, water, and ground surfaces for miles around. But when you ask a metalhead what those two words are all about, their minds start playing metal of all sorts or at least ours do. I am proud of confusing both words of such results, especially in the presence of the scared straight non-metal folk.
Today’s tracks go out to one of the biggest metal labels in the world. What started as a mail-in order label in Germany now has expanded internationally and very much doing an exemplary job of putting out some amazing talent to the masses. Lately there have been many releases from the label which I am very much stoked and looking forward to.
